Our Campus, Our Community, Our Impact
The Campus Charitable Fund Drive (CCFD) is the only annual, combined charitable giving campaign for University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign faculty, staff, and retirees. For eight weeks each fall, our campus community comes together to make a difference—locally, nationally, and globally.
Through CCFD, every donor has control over where their contribution goes. Whether you want to help alleviate poverty and hunger, preserve natural areas, combat discrimination, prevent child abuse, or support groundbreaking medical research, there is a nonprofit organization ready to put your gift into action.
Since 1929, Illinois employees and retirees have touched countless lives through their generosity, supporting hundreds of participating charities. In recent years, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign faculty, staff, and retirees pledged over $1 million to nearly 600 organizations.
CCFD is powered by a dedicated network of section and unit leaders, who attend trainings, organize events, and rally their colleagues to give generously.
CCFD is operated in parallel with the dates for the State Employee Combined Appeal (SECA). The Office of Public Engagement coordinates CCFD at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
