Message from the CCFD Co-Chairs

Dear Colleagues,

At the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, we have always been about helping others and strengthening our community. Today, our commitment is even more vital. You have the opportunity to show how much you care by supporting the annual Campus Charitable Fund Drive (CCFD). Your donation, no matter what the amount, makes a difference and is critcally important to our friends and colleagues in the community.

With one gift, you will touch the lives of many individuals and families by supporting one or more of the more than 700 charities participating in the campaign. It is easy to sign up for payroll deductions, and your contribution will make a positive impact for the people served by the participating charities.

The 2019 campaign runs from September 16 through November 8. In previous years, more than 3000 faculty, staff and retirees have participated. Our goal for this year is to raise $1.5 million and to see 25% of our faculty and staff participate. With your help, we can increase employee participation, increase dollars raised for local charities, and promote a culture of giving at Illinois.

Our faculty and staff make Illinois a positive force throughout our community, our region, our nation, and around the globe. Thank you for the role you play in making the lives of so many individuals and families better.

Your giving sparks hope!

Sincerely,

Jeff Brown, Dean – Gies College of Business
